Tooting My Own Horn
I am thrilled to pieces and cannot hold this story to myself.
My post that had made a debut on this website on August 23rd after my trip to the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest has made it to the big-time!
Well, not exactly big-time, but it is getting re-published by Oregon State University Extension in their October Newsletter.
October 2018 – Seasonal Notes
This special edition of the OST Observer features the OST Retreat held this August at the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest. It was a great experience for those who attended. For those in the OST community unable to attend, we are sharing some of the stories, excitement and discoveries from the retreat. Please read on to find stories from fellow volunteers, and Extension staff.
The edition is all about OSU Extension Oregon Season Tracker Citizen Science Program and the link to my blog post is on the front page! I was surprised and delighted that they chose to run the whole story (one of my more lengthy posts) in its entirety.
