Tiny Gifts

Tiny twin flowers have been popping their blooms toward the sky on thread sized stems. This Oregon native dots the land under the towering fir trees, living off the thick carpet of needles that have been deposited over the generations of forests.
Another sweet little native bloom that has been noticed is the inside out flower.

According to the site:
Landscape Uses: Nice leaf texture as a ground cover.
Name Info: Named after the explorer Captain George Vancouver; hexandra is for the 6 stamens exposed by the inside-out flower.
These miniature treasures truly are a gift and I am fortunate for the chance to see such splendor in nature.
