Supervising From Home Base
While Mike was busy filling the spreader tank on the back of the tractor, Butler the farm dog, took up his post from the bed of the Gator.
Even while Mike was going round and round the field, Butler continued his vigil watching the far log piles for a squirrel sighting. There were no squirrels who showed themselves on this day, but I am sure Butler will not be dissuaded from his day-long hunts.
Squirrels had better be on alert.

I don’t know about your squirrels, but I think ours play a game of their own taunting Bailey and getting her to run after them when they know she doesn’t have a chance of actually catching them.
Critters who have been wintering over inside the logging dozer or under my log deck are beginning to get out and about in the warmer weather. The dogs are ready to give chase as soon as they see movement
