Spending A Night Tied Out

Now that the Fair animals are totally comfortable with the process of being haltered and being held in place while being worked on and while at rest, the next step is to tie out the animals for a night.

The animals were happy to be moved out of the stuffy barn and were able to sleep beneath the stars. They were tied out at dusk and checked during the night.

About daybreak, the young calf that was tethered next to his mother was loosened and he nursed. This kept both the mother and baby happy until breakfast time where the show string was moved into the barn for a hearty meal.
