Rosalie and Robby

Our cow, Rosalie had a bull calf on 4/22/16. Robby weighed in at 70 lbs. This was one of the two calves that was born during the active thunderstorm that rolled through the area during the night.

By feeding time in the morning, the weather had calmed down, and Rosalie had Robby all cleaned off and ready to join the rest of the herd for breakfast. This was her second calf, and she didn’t let the storm bother her too much since she is a very good mother and pays close attention to her babies.
