Opal And Mica

With Opal’s quick delivery out in the nursery field, I am pleased to announce the newest critter to the farm.

Welcome heifer calf SAF Mica, born 12/23/2020 and weighing in at 76 lbs. Her sire is KC Knight Prowler.

Opal’s mild demeanor allowed for an easy transition from one herd to the nursery field once we got her away from the outdoor feeders, she is a girl that likes her grub and doesn’t mind letting you know. She fits in well with Pressure and Softly along with their calves and Mica is learning that the older calves can teach her how to scamper and kick her heels up especially when the dogs are out in the field.
