Not To Be Outdone By Sunsets

Crisp, cold mornings here on the farm have been rather plain compared to the spectacular sunsets we have been having.

That all changed on this morning when the sky lit up moments before sunrise. A few scattered clouds highlighted the pinks and oranges of the coming day. Beams of light streamed forth from just beyond the break of the hill.

By the time I could snap a picture, the colors had changed and muted in hues. The glorious beauty of the day pulsed to more mellow tones and the actual sunrise was not near as dramatic as the sky had foretold. The day itself showed the fall colors draining from the trees and a more winter-like look is now upon the farm.
