Not All Mallows Are The Same

More investigation is needed to identify a plant/flower that I noticed as I was clipping vegetation along the roadside.
The flower of a mallow plant.I have narrowed down the search to being a member of the Malvaceace (mallow) family.
Of this family, the delicate, baby pink tinged with lavender colored petals lend me to think that it is a Swamp Rose Mallow, a Checker Mallow, or a Musk Mallow. ( would like to find the naturalist that names flowers, none of these names sound nearly as pretty as the actual plant, and I am quite perturbed about it)
More investigation will have to be completed, but by documenting the plant with pics and notations on leaves and stem, the true name will hopefully fill in the information. Until the summer work load lessens or I get enough gumption to look further, mallow is enough.
