No Weed Whacker Needed

Princess is one of our favorites. She was born in 2005 and has had seven calves so far. But she is a pig. No matter how much we feed her, she is positive that she still needs more to eat. A couple of years ago she started sneaking under fences, both electric and barb wire, to get the grass that the other cows don’t reach. She knees down on her front legs and with her behind still high in the air, and grabs tuffs as far as she can reach. I have witnessed her walking on her knees to get to the next spot. She cleans up under every fence on the place, and she has even started teaching some of the yearling heifers to do the same thing.
