Log Decks Dwindle
Our logger/hauler has been busy with several logging sites and has been hampered by fire season restrictions.
With the fire danger high, the truck cannot be in the woods between the hours of 1pm and 8pm.
Our hauler has been known to arrive in the woods well before daybreak for the first load of the day, or return to the farm near dark to load up for an early run to the mill after sitting parked with a load for the night.
As of this writing, there are still approximately six loads waiting to be hauled out of the forest.
This has been a year of many logging operations and the loaded trucks are the norm on our county road all day long.
