Loads Of Beans
Besides giving away baskets full of beans, I have been taking time to snap and freeze them by the gallons.
I do not like to par-boil them or add any seasonings.
The premise is easy. Snip the tip, snap into bite sized pieces and plunk into freezer bags making sure to squeeze out excess air before placing in freezer.
The beans freeze in their individual pieces and the gallon bags allow me to take out only the amount I need for a single serving or enough for a full sized casserole while resealing any I’m not using for a trip back into the freezer.
