Keeping it Cool

A black angus calf found a comfortable tuft of grass to lounge by the river.

It’s been an exceptionally warm summer so far and the animals are doing their best to stay comfortable.

As I was driving over the bridge, I noticed this six month old calf. He had found the perfect tuft of green grass to sit beside the river and just chill out for the day. It was like it was his own day at the spa with rippling waters. He did not get up even when I drove 15 feet above him with the loud John Deere Gator!
