Just Give Me

With this super busy year I have been heard saying, just give me a little time. An hour of uninterrupted time would get me quite a ways toward getting caught up. Well, maybe not an hour, but two hours would certainly help. Yes, that sounds good, two solid hours with a couple of tanks-full of fuel and a sharp saw. Two hours, a sharp saw, plenty of fuel and now cows in the way near the landing, I could get a lot done then, I could really tear into the log deck.

Oh and it shouldn’t be raining, or as hot as the devil. Just two hours, a sharp saw, lots of fuel, no critters in the way, and gloves without holes in them along with comfortable weather. Then I could really get things caught up.

And someone should have a meal ready for me when I get done with those two hours of uninterrupted time because I’m going to work up an appetite. And it would be nice to have the chores done so I could put my feet up. Did I mention the laundry? Why of course the laundry needs to be done so I can get my special time all to working on the log deck.

This is my fantasy. Two solid hours with no interruptions so I could work in peace with the soothing sound of my chain saw ripping through 16 inch wood cuts. I may need a vacation, this year is starting to get to me!
