Independence Day

The term “Independence Day” is widely heard but seldom taken to heart.

I challenge you to take a look around. City, country, underground rail, high in a plane, driving a bus, pushing a stroller, cleaning a venue, protecting the streets; we are all in this together.

We are dependent on the earth, and each of us, independently, is responsible to care for the earth. Treat the land as if it is a precious thing, because it is.
