In the Garden

Ground Breaking

A tiller attachment on back of tractor. We attached the rototiller to the back of the tractor and Mike made the first passes through the garden now that the ground has dried a bit.
This big tiller for the ground breaking saves me many hours of using the two-wheeled garden rototiller.
It was one quick pass over, just to break up the soil before letting it sit for a day while the sun dries the soil that was brought to the surface. If we were to continue to work over the patch before drying, the clods would dry in big hard clumps that would be tougher to break into fine soil that is needed for planting.
