Five Acre Silt

Before and after views of the stretch that was the most affected by silt.

The fence line in the five acre field was under water during the flood. This is located near the river where there are a lot of large leaf maple and ash trees. The leaves from the trees had made a thick covering on the ground during the fall months.

When the waters levels raised, the silt and mud mixed with the layer of leaves and coated the wires of the fence and broke several strands in the process. The layered good needs to be pulled off the fence by hand before fixing the line.
