Every Dang Day
There has been an ongoing battle raging here on the farm. Every dang day it seems like I am re-cleaning, sweeping, shoveling and shooing mud off of every cement surface. The small fits and starts of small storm systems has brought daily moisture but not enough to curtail working. The cleats on the tires of the pickup, tractors and the Gator get chocked full of the tacky mud and it eventually falls off once the vehicle is driven into the barns or garage.
I know once the mud dries and things become dusty, I will be ranting on about needing rain, but this mud is really getting to me. It’s getting to the point where I want to declare that all vehicles have to live outdoors until the mud either gets muddier or dries up completely.
It is a heck of a thing to be mad at mud, an inanimate object albeit an intrusive problem and I did not expect this post to become the rant that it is but dang it all anyways…GO AWAY.

As Bob says when I complain about dog hair swirling around the floor or mud tracked into the house, “It’s a muddy, dusty, dirty, hairy world – that’s just the way it is.” At least your mud and dog hair is outside.
I got the comment of ‘suck it up buttercup!’ from a dear reader. Sounds like your Bob is saying the same thing!
