Blue Skies Not Quite Yet
The picture does not do nature justice, but a vibrant rainbow showed up as I was doing the chores.
I tried several locations to get a good beauty shot. Things like rainbow over cows, rainbow over the orchard, I even I ran around the bull pen trying to get the bald eagle in the top of the 120 foot fir tree framed by the rainbow.
I was hampered by the mud and large hoof prints, by the time I could get the eagle in the shot, the rainbow was gone.
Oregon rainbows are fairly common, we usually are treated to the sight a couple times a month. They always bring a new perspective, a moment of reflection, and warmth to a dreary day. And that sums up why I wanted to share this today.
