It was a busy day with Marilyn and I delivering firewood to four different stores and Mike working at home doing the morning chores then working on the rabbit run (the dual-sided path that we use to take the main herd through the hay field to their other pasture on the far, far, side of the river).
I think Marilyn and I had the easy task list. Our stores were fairly easy to deliver to and were appreciative that we could bring them their orders. Mike found out that the rain we had last week did little to soften the ground that had hardened during our warmer and drier than normal March. Driving the t-posts into the rock hard ground proved to be a very laborious job.
Once we were home from delivering wood, we were able to assist with the rabbit run by stringing the electric wires on each side of the path. This path will be used tomorrow to get the main herd to the fresh new grass that is just waiting for them across the field and river.
