New Birth on the Farm

Pressure is just one of the thirty mother cows we have on the farm. We breed our cattle to begin calving in late November and stretch out the calving season until May or June. It is always a wonder to see the little ones being born.

By breeding toward 70-80 lb. birth weights, the babies are born without too much stress on the mother or themselves. The calves are up and eating shortly after birth and gain weight quickly with the high milk production of the mothers.
