High Grass On Neighbor Farm

A few days ago, we had ear tagged the older calves in the nursery field. Since then we were able to match the mothers with their babies.
Now, 3 of the pairs will be headed to a neighbor farm to engage in grass management.
The three sets are;
Topanga and #9 Zion (Topanga was at this same farm last year and she was well liked by the farmer because of her easy-going personality and willingness to walk from one pasture to the next just because someone opened a gate for her.)
Roz and #7 Zephyr (Roz also a former show heifer who is comfortable around people and doesn’t get worked up or nervous around new situations.)
Gauge and #10 Dimension (Gauge is from a  long line of people-friendly cows, she is a great mother and many times babysits for the other mothers.)
