Cleaning Up the Skid Road

Using my chain saw I trimmed up from the bottom about 5 feet, then my right hand helper used the saw-on-a-stick (most people call it a pole saw) to limb up to the 9 foot level. This gives plenty of clearance for the cage of the bulldozer.
The limbs were dropped right onto the skid road since Mike will be able to use the blade of the dozer while dragging 5 trees behind him on the first pull out of the woods, thus cleaning up the path.
This pleasant day spent trimming went by quickly and we were able to complete this part of the road in 4 hours. After the hike up the hill, that was a full enough day for work.
