Here A Cat, There A Cat
When I am out in the barn doing the chores, there always seems to be a kitten around to give a helping hand (or paw) to whatever task I am doing.
On this day, I was cutting the last of the apples in a wheelbarrow so I could feed them to the cows. I cut the apples so no one accidentally gets a whole one stuck in their throat, by slicing them in half, the apple has and edge to it and the cows are able to chew them up easily.
I was down to the last few apples when I suddenly I had two kittens pawing at the apples and sending them rolling around the inside of the wheelbarrow. It was a fun game for the youngsters and me as we all tried to grab at the moving targets. One by one I snagged an apple, sliced it and put it into a bucket.
They ‘assisted’ me all the way to the final apple in the cart, that is when the game came to an abrupt end and the pair ran off for some other adventure.
