Did I Get A Thank You?

The birds have swooped in and wiped out my blueberry crop. I had doo-dads, thing-a-ma-jigs, swirlies, and party favors hanging from above and whirly gigs poked into the ground. The birds ignored by Persian Mardi Gras theme and got all the best fruit before it ripened completely.

So I did the next best thing.

Packages of blueberry bagged and ready for freezer.I trotted my self down to our local producer for U-pick, Tom’s Berry Patch.

I picked enough berries to supply the freezer for the whole winter and still share a few. Now I don’t feel so bad that the birds had cleaned out my harvest, but I still think that I could have at least gotten a thank you from those thieving critters for the hearty meal.
