Sneaking A Snack

Two young heifers just couldn’t resist the smell of freshly mowed hay.

The pair spent about a half hour browsing along the electric fence and snagging any bits that fell close enough to the fence for them to grab.

As soon as the field is harvested, it will revert back to a grazing field for the whole herd. Any loose grass that did not make it into the baler will be the first eaten in the field.
