Cows Love a Good Get-Away

It doesn’t matter how many times the summer squash row gets picked, there will still be get-aways. Get-away are those zucchini, yellow, crooknecks and patty pans like to hide and grow beyond good eating.

The cows just love the get-aways almost as much as they like the sliced apples and pears that have been added to their diet the last 2 months. This pile of get-aways will be taken to the cattle in the show barn where they will be sliced and scattered in with their sweet grass hay.
