A Snuck Snack

I know what the dog was thinking, he saw the pears falling off the tree and decided that they would be a good snack. When I loaded Jackson to help feed the main cow herd across the river, he jumped into the back of the Gator with a little something extra.

He was trying to hide the fact that he had a green pear in his mouth. When he realized that I was only trying to take his picture and not take away his ill-gotten booty, he set about devouring the crunchy half-grown fruit.

He made it sound delicious with all the smacking, slobbering and joyful noises of a scrumptious snack.
