Thick As Pea Soup
Waking up to 50 warm degrees creates a thick fog bank that sits along the river and slowly marches across the hay field turned nursery. The view from the barn shows that the area around the barn if clear. There was no wind this day so the fog hung in our little valley all day while reports from farther inland had blue sky most of the day before rain clouds moving in at sunset.
The babies are only feet away from the mother cows but are almost obscured by the fog. Once we feed hay out on the ground, the mothers and babies reunite.
