The Bull Barn Is Stacked

The bull barn, where I spend so much quality time bundling firewood, is scheduled for a face lift on the inside. The large floor space is simply not organized into a good workable area.

We have been holding off doing any changes until the hay crop of 300 bales, enough to sustain the bulls through the winter.

It is a very good feeling to have the crop completed for this (the smallest volume) barn. After hay season, a wall will be built to distinguish the the bull side with their supply of feed and the area where firewood and other tasks will be performed. Basically we are making the barn into a shop/barn combined under one roof.

In the meantime, I still get to share the space with the stacked up hay. But before long we will be bringing in a supply of dry wood that can be made into bundles during the fall and winter wet months so that I can continue with the firewood project even during the construction.

There are never enough out-buildings. Luckily for you, a remodel will suit your needs rather than a whole additional one.
