While I Was Cleaning The Inside

I was cleaning the inside floor of the barn that the four no-good-nik critters used for an extracurricular impromptu party while Mike used the tractor to scoop and clean the pens.

Even with all the horsepower he was using, I still needed to go along the edges with a square nosed shovel to de-poop around the posts, gates and lock ups. By the end of the day, the party floor and all four of the cattle pens had been cleaned by one means or another.

After a sprinkling of lime on the clean floor of the pens, a fine layer of wood chips was put down for bedding.

Between the bull barn and the show barn, Mike hauled four honey wagons (manure spreaders) full of the stuff to the far, far field where it will decompose naturally and add precious nutrients to the grass growing there.
