The Last Truck Of This Year
It has been a bit of a battle this year to get the logging done, but the very last truck load of logs has now been taken out of the landing. Our local logger that hauls for us made it over just hours before the moisture started.
Once the rain did begin in earnest gave us more the 70/100ths of an inch overnight and the roads are now too muddy and slick to be passable by log trucks or heavy vehicles of any kind.

Hay in the barn and logs to the mill. Both created major challenges with weather, so give yourselves a pat on the back and a huge sigh of relief.
