Beyond the FarmCattleIn the Fields

Fer-Cryin’-Out-Loud

The thought came to me in the early, early morning hours. I fretted that I had missed my posting deadline. I really hate missing the publishing deadline to have my stories ready when my readers are.

I have my stories set to publish at 4:04 am and they post to several social media such as LinkedIn and Facebook while also showing up on the farm blog. My computer savvy is such that even though I had originally set things up this way, the 4:04 time slot becomes out of sync with real time when one of my computers or my social feeds stay on daylight savings time while others don’t, or visa-versa.  However the technical stuff works out, my stories are available in the early morning hours each day.

I finished my story about Pente, LuLu and Parker just before going to bed and set the publish button to activate at 4:04. What woke me before my usual early morning time was the fact that I had neglected to add pictures of the new calves to the story. By the time I was able to get out of bed to add those photos, the story published sans evidence…

For those of you who are reading on mrssusanschmidlin.wordpress.com, this has been a typical reporting week since I do not have data space for pictures and you have already been missing out. For my readers on SchmidlinAngusFarms.com, Facebook (Schmidlin Angus Farms) and LinkedIn (Susan Schmidlin), I am enclosing the pictures of the new family on this story. Those who catch the short video clips on Instagram, you have already gotten a good view. Who knew I could mess up one published story so many ways!

If you intend to do any shopping at Amazon, I would be grateful if you went through my SchmidlinAngusFarms.com site to get access to all their products. By doing so, I get credit for sending shoppers to them and I may make a small commission if you do happen to purchase anything without any cost to you for helping me. As always, Prime and other codes work just like your regular shopping. Thank you for supporting my farm blog.
